Jaisalmer to Jaipur: Desert, Leopards and Lakes

Arrive and check in. After some rest see Jaisalmer Fort, Raj Mahal, the fort's Jain temples, Laxminath Temple, Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli, Manak Chowk and the handicraft market, with Gadisar Lake in the evening.

After breakfast see Bada Bagh, Amar Sagar Jain Temple, Kuldhara and, if time permits, the Desert National Park area. Reach Sam by afternoon and check in at the desert camp. Camel safari, jeep safari or dune bashing, sunset, Rajasthani folk dance and music, a traditional dinner, a bonfire and stargazing.

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur, check in and have lunch. See Mehrangarh Fort (Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal), Jaswant Thada, Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, Toorji Ka Jhalra stepwell, Clock Tower and Sardar Market. Evening in the old city and markets.

Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace and museum and Mandore Gardens with its temples and cenotaphs, then drive towards Jawai. Check in at the resort or camp and relax. Evening leopard safari, subject to safari availability and timing.

Early morning leopard safari, breakfast, then depart for Udaipur. On arrival check in and see City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Gangaur Ghat, Bagore Ki Haveli, Lake Pichola and Doodh Talai. Evening Lake Pichola sunset boat ride, subject to operating conditions.

Continue Udaipur sightseeing: Saheliyon Ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake, Maharana Pratap Smarak, Moti Magri, Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace), Shilpgram and the local market. After lunch drive to Chittorgarh.
